Meadow Fingerless Mitts
The Meadow Fingerless Mitts crochet pattern is available to purchase from Ravelry and Etsy!
Just like the Meadow Hat, the Meadow Fingerless Mitts offer wonderful texture and depth without adding bulk, making them both stylish and practical. After designing the Aspen Mitts, I wanted to incorporate something different into this design for a new challenge making these mitts an interesting little project for an advanced beginner.
The Meadow Fingerless Mitts feature ribbing around the fingers, a ribbed cuff, and a separate thumb hole for added comfort and fit. The main body is worked using a simple yet effective two-row repeat, creating a beautifully textured fabric. These fingerless mitts provide warmth while allowing for easy movement, making them a versatile accessory for everyday wear and a great handmade gift idea.
I love how this design has come together, and I hope you enjoy crocheting them

Construction

The Meadow Fingerless Mitts are made from the bottom up, starting with the ribbing for the cuff. The ribbing is worked using back loop only crochet stitches. You can easily customise the brim width. Simply add extra stitches to the brim if you need a wider brim or for a narrower brim simply work less stitches in the row.
The main body of each mitt is worked in rows with a variety of single crochet, double crochet and cluster stitches. Ribbing is added around the fingers and a separate thumb hole is created which also features ribbing.
There are no decreases which make this an easy project for beginners looking for more of a challenge.
The Meadow Fingerless Mitts are seamed together using your yarn needle.
